Vlad The Watcher

Sitting high on his perch, The Watcher watches all. He watches their movements, their mannerisms, their every action. He then dissects their actions assessing what they should and shouldn’t have done. If someone does something real stupid, he then pokes fun at their imbecile behavior. It is this attention to detail, and constant observance, that has earned The Watcher his name.

Musical History

Mostly a loner all his life, the one that is known as Vlad the Watcher realized his power of music very young, but had distractions from other powerful forces. Traveling through most of the world at a young age, the Watcher paid attention to his surroundings and learned. All the while he tried to harness his energy. The Watcher had a chance to learn to control his energy by learning the guitar, but the teacher was petty in his teaching and turned the Watcher off of that instrument. It was like there was something trying to keep him down.

Again the opportunity presented itself to further hone his powers but now it involved playing the drums in school. But again he was denied the chance and was diverted to the trombone. He was upset with what happened, so for years he didn’t try to learn anything.

Finally the pilgrimage to the city of lights and money came. The city was far and seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere, but nothing was going to stop the Watcher this time. The whole stay at this city he was surrounded by music. His power was increasing by the minute. In the middle of the stay drumsticks were given to him, and he then knew what he most do.

Upon return from the city of lights and money lessons began. Astonished, the teacher saw the power of the Watcher, even without having a drumset. Finally, after a year, the father of the Watcher gave in and bought the set.

Entering into high school the Watcher, who at this point was refered to as Jules, continued to stay to himself and build his power. One day while walking through the Mater Dei’s dungeon hall he met up with two cowboys of modern day. The three of them became the official band of the vicious Seraph’s.

The three companion’s Horizons grew together, but it wasn’t enough for the Jules. Leaving them behind, the Jules found an Air Siren with a goal of common interest.

With this new alliance, the ability of the Jules flourished even more. To them Jules was known as Nuclear Arsenal. The Air Siren introduced him to the Axe Master (also known as the Wannabe).

The Axe Master, Nuclear Arsenal, Air Siren and the Sledge Hammer, who was the Air Siren’s brother, created a Lifeless Echo, but there was one thing that was missing. Yet again Air Siren found the Chainsaw, who seemed to be the missing link to the band. Now the band was complete. They took on the world making fools of everyone else, but the world wasn’t ready for talent. They were hungry for a teen spirit smell, which smelled foul to the Nuclear Arsenal.

Many times though high school, Jules felt power similar to his, and it seemed to be strongest when he hung out with the one who would come to be known as The Wannabe. The strange thing was though even while with The Wannabe he didn’t feel the outside force’s presence all the time. Disregarding it for now, Jules soon met the one known as the Master of Madness and Maniacal Mayhem through The Wannabe. This Madman happened to be the drummer for a group with the initials of GOP. Jules saw the Master of Madness and Maniacal Mayhem play and realized why he had that name.

Moving on to college Jules met a man in his class with a strange habit of sticking his nose up his ass and trying to sniff roses. Jules thought that was odd, but he didn’t pay attention to him. One day this man came up to Jules and asked if he wanted to play drums on his CD he was going to record. Jules always up to playing agreed.

During the months of recording with the nosey-ass man, Jules meet up with the Axe Master again. The Axe master introduced Jules to his friends. There was Lethal Weapon Rod Blackman, Dawning of Lies, The Eve Of Bewilderment, Dude Xavier, The Man Counter, and among the crowd was also Chain Saw.

What?!?!

Suddenly Jules felt the power that he felt before, but he now realized that it was not coming from Axe Master. Jules turned around to see The Master of Madness and Maniacal Mayhem, who had evolved at this point into Vlad the Enforcer! Again these two were face to face, and realized that this was a friendship that was set in stone.

Well, time went by and Jules was getting too strong for the he nosey-ass man. The nosey-ass man and Jules invited friends of his to a jam. Everyone came even The Enforcer. Jules was about to explode. Jules and the nosey-ass man began to play. The place heated up. It was getting too much for the nosey-ass man, and he wasn’t sure that he could give out any more but Jules pushed harder. The Enforcer, watching on, was use to these types of jams. Since he himself was now jamming with Vlad the Inhaler (more of that in the Inhaler’s page).

The night continued, but not long. Jules exploded and sent the nosey-ass man to another dimension. Jules man was glad to be finally rid of him.

Now Jules needed to expand his horizons and bid farewell to his friend to move south, but after awhile he knew it was a mistake. When he returned the Axe Master got in touch with Jules. The Axe Master wanted to play acoustic music. Knowing the Jules had picked up the guitar and was writing music. He knew to ask him.

Jules agreed and the two of them practiced, but it was hard to really get anything off the ground, because the Axe Master now had a short leash. This ball and chain (and boy where the back of her thigh’s hairy) was so heavy that Jules couldn’t take it. So one day Jules and the Axe Master talked and agreed that maybe they should do a bar band type of thing. So the two now confronted the one who would later become known as The Toker. The Toker agreed and the three of them played one night. Jules and Axe Master realized they needed someone else, and the only choice they knew they had to make was to ask The Enforcer. Soon after is when Vlad the Enforcer, with the will of Vlad the Impaler, dubbed Jules with the Name of “J.A.M. Master Jules Vlad the Watcher”…(See Vlads Mystical Minstrels page if you haven’t done so already.)

As you can see Vlad the Watchers road led in circles. With playing guitar, then drums and then back to guitar, also with The Enforcer in many parts of his life and finally joining Vlads Ranks as one of the original Minstrels. What I’m saying is to never underestimate the power of Vlad, and as always “Steve is still there”!
